The correct properties of the underlying base\u2014including its load-bearing capacity, shear strength and drainage capacity\u2014are equally important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\">Asphalt pavement is constructed using asphalt mixtures. The components of an asphalt mixture can be divided into two main categories: aggregates and binders. By varying aggregates and binders with different properties, asphalt pavements with a wide range of characteristics can be produced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mastic Asphalt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li>Mastic asphalt is a seamless, dense, flexible and wear-resistant surfacing solution.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It can be used as a base course, binder course or surface course.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thanks to its high binder content, which fills the voids in the mixture, mastic asphalt is considerably more flexible and resistant to water and frost than any other type of asphalt concrete. However, compared with dense asphalt concrete pavement, it has a lower load-bearing capacity due to its higher bitumen content. Mastic asphalt is a poured asphalt surface that does not require compaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Confalt<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list wp-el\">\n<li>Confalt is a strong, flexible and seamless composite surface combining the properties of cement-based and flexible surfacing solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It is suitable for areas that must withstand heavy loads, including warehouse and industrial floors, terminals, port areas and parking decks. The surface has no joints and can be used both indoors and outdoors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Different colour options are created using coloured Confalt powder. Available colours include red, blue, green and yellow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Rooparemix \u2013 Fast and Cost-Effective Repairs<br><\/strong><br>Rooparemix is a hot in-place asphalt recycling and remixing method that enables damaged sections of pavement to be repaired quickly and economically. It is suitable for repairing potholes, joints, wheel ruts, block cracks and longitudinal cracks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el wp-block-paragraph\">The Rooparemix method makes maximum use of the existing pavement. A new asphalt mixture and, where necessary, additional binder are added to the damaged surface.
