Capacity Information:
The Väo cogeneration plant consists of:
- fuel entry and sorting buildings,
- an electricity distributor,
- a sedimentation basin,
- a pump house,
- a main building.
The foundations of all buildings are monolithic concrete.
The height of the boiler house is 32.7m., and the building has six separate floors. The height of the boiler’s hearth is nearly 27m., and the height of the chimney is 70m. The areas between the buildings and the wood chip storage areas are asphalted.
The size of the entire asphalted area is over 30 000m2.

The metal structures of the boiler house were built in cooperation with Maru Metall AS.
