Upgrading the Tallinn – Tapa passenger platform to new standards

Capacity Information:
The goal of the project was to bring the passenger platforms in the area operated by AS Edelaraudtee and AS Elektriraudtee into compliance with the requirements of the standard EVS 867:2003 “Railway-related applications – passenger waiting platforms”, and to ensure technical possibilities for the operation of rail transport for passenger transport.
Teostatud tööd:
- Construction of 19 new railway platforms meeting European standards.
- Design and construction of platform lighting and systems.
- Ülemiste station, the length of the tunnel under the railway is 21m
- Lagedi station, the length of the tunnel under the railway is 31m.

The project was financed from the Customer’s capital and, according to the transport investment plan, from the Cohesion Fund, of which the maximum grant rate was 94% of the eligible costs.
